What is Li-FT Saline Pigment + Ink Lightening?

Li-FT is a unique saline removal formula like no other in the world made by Li Pigments. No chemicals, no acids. All natural salt and fruit seed extract. Made in a state of the art licensed and inspected manufacturing lab, Li-FT went through extensive testing by an independent lab for safety. The saline solution is implanted into the skin to lighten and remove unwanted PMU such as microblading, powder brows, nano stocks as well as body tattoos. Saline removal works on the theory of osmosis by pulling pigment to the skin’s surface… up and out of the body.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions you will need cannot be predicted as it depends on many variables from the pigment to location to you and your body. Be patient and trust the process, it will be so worth it!

Does this work on conventional tattoos or just cosmetic?

Yes, Li-FT is great for lightening both conventional and cosmetic tattoos. I am currently taking Li-FT clients for eyebrow tattoos and small to medium conventional tattoos.

Can I just get parts of my tattoo removed or lightened?

Yes! No need to lighten or remove what does not need to be lightened or removed.

What if I like my brow shape but not the color?

Pending the saturation of your existing pigment, it is possible you may only need color correcting. For this to be possible the pigment should have low saturation. If pigment has high saturation we will need to lighten the color at least 50% before proceeding with color correction. We can determine this and more during your consultation.

Why do I need an in-person consultation?

When the skin has been previously tattooed it is best to be seen in person to determine and understand your options for the current tattoo based on you, your skin, your goals and your desires. We will go over the procedure process, after care, fees and paperwork.

What is the healing process?

Always keep in mind that each one of us are unique therefore our healing process will be unique as well.

• The first few days the treated area will be a bit red and irritated looking.

• As you get closer to the 1 week mark, your skin will begin to calm and you will wait for the scab to start forming.

• Scabs will form, do not pick them!

• Around the 2 or 3 week mark scabs will have NATURALLY fallen off

• Week 4 you are half way through the healing process, which means time for a check in. You will come back in so we can take photos and a closer look at the area we did removal on to observe your progress.

How soon can I schedule my next session?

Whether you are looking to book your next removal session or your Brow PMU session post removal, you must wait a MINIMUM of 8 weeks. The longer you wait, the better healed result. We can book this at your 4 week check in.

When can I wear makeup over my brows?

Once all of your scabs have NATURALLY fallen off (about 2 weeks) you can wear makeup on your brows, consider something lighter like a brow powder.

Does Li-FT remove Titanium (white or flesh tone pigments)?

Titanium is a heavy pigment and can be stubborn when it comes to removal. Li-FT will remove it, but more sessions are to be expected.

Why Saline over Laser removal?

• Saline does not recognize color like laser does, saline is not color restricted.

• With Laser, pigment is broken down and pushed back into the body and removed by your lymphatic system VS Saline, which works on the theory of Osmosis; pulling pigment to the skin’s surface… up and out of the body. Pigment is then trapped inside of the scab your body naturally forms and when the scab falls off, some of the pigment will come with it.

• If you are planning on tattooing the area again, with laser it is often unsuccessful due to scar tissue and alteration to the skin via laser.

• Laser can remove hair permanently, something to really consider with your brows.

• Laser may turn titanium black or grey

• In certain cases Laser may be the better option for you. It is best to do your research and understand the procedure before going forward with it.

Can I get Saline Removal after I already tried Laser Removal?

Yes, Li-Ft will be able to remove pigment from the skin that has been previously worked with laser.
